USPK Standard Divisions:
All athletes will be placed into USPK divisions based on their age as of January 1 of the competition year, in accordance with USPK policy.
Masters – Men and Women born 1986 or before
Adult – Men and Women born 2013 or before
Teen – Boys and Girls born 2010–2013
Youth – Boys and Girls born 2014–2016
Junior – Boys and Girls born 2017–2019
Division Movement Policy
Athletes are placed into divisions based on their age as of January 1st, and they may move up into an older division during any Qualifier event if they choose. Athletes may continue to switch divisions throughout the Qualifier stage; however, once they begin competing at Regionals, they must compete in the division they qualified for at Regionals. Trans and Nonbinary Athletes can participate in the gender division of their choice for the entire season.
