Parkour Skill Competition

Join us on September 13th for the parkour skill competition! Get ready to witness the art of movement at its finest! Athletes will push their limits to conquer a set number of unique challenges under a time limit. From perfect landings to seamless obstacle transitions, this event is all about showcasing technical mastery and adaptability—the core of parkour.

Whether you're a passionate practitioner or a curious spectator, this is your chance to experience the energy, ingenuity, and athleticism that make parkour truly inspiring. Explore the competition details, meet the athletes, and join us in celebrating the limitless potential of human movement.

Competitors will have 45-60 minutes to complete challenges in 3-4 categories, each ranked with different difficulties. Competitors will be split into 5 divisions according to age groups that more closely fall in line with the USPK standards.

Schedule

Advanced Adults (Ages 17+)

  • 12:30 - 1:00 PM: Warmup & Challenge Walkthrough

  • 1:00 - 1:45 PM: Competition

  • 1:45 - 2:00 PM: Placements

Teen / Masters / Novice Adult (Ages 13+)

  • 2:00 - 2:30 PM: Warmup & Challenge Walkthrough

  • 2:30 - 3:15 PM: Competition

  • 3:15 - 3:40 PM: Placements

Junior / Youth (Ages 7-12)

  • 3:40 - 4:10 PM: Warmup & Challenge Walkthrough

  • 4:10 - 5:10 PM: Competition

  • 5:10 - 5:35 PM: Placements

Male and female athletes will be awarded separately within each division. Teens, Masters, & Novice Adult will compete at the same time. $40 registration fee. No refunds. Free for spectators.


Format

  • Open Gym format - competitors will share the gym’s competitor arena to complete challenges within the given amount of time.

  • Challenges will be separated into 3-4 movement categories/areas with 5-6 challenges per category.

  • Challenges in each category are ranked from 1-6. 1 being the lowest score. 6 being the highest.

  • Competitors only need to complete the highest-scored challenge in each category that they can.

  • Only the highest-scored challenge completed in each category will be used toward the competitor’s score.

  • Scores will be calculated by the sum of their highest completed challenge in each category.

  • Example Categories & Scorecard:

    • Vaults: 3

    • Bars: 2

    • Wall Movements: 5

    • Flips: 2

    • Total Score: 12 (3+2+5+2)

  • In the event of a tie, competitors will face off in a final challenge.
